Case Study: Chocolateria SanChurro

The client

Chocolateria SanChurro is head quartered in Victoria, Australia and specializes in premium Spanish chocolate, chocolate desserts and Spanish doughnuts. San Churro has a growing chain of chocolaterias across the country and was recently ranked 53 in Australia's 100 fastest growing companies (BRW Fast Starter's List).

The Business Problem

San Churro's growing business meant an increased number of books and necessity of competent accountants on NetSuite for a scalable operation. San Churro was aware that SaaS is the future of accounting and that having NetSuite will allow them to cut costs on procuring the software and save on storing the immense data load. However, finding accountants competent on NetSuite was a constant challenge for San Churro. Another issue was with increasing business there was a need to increase efficiency of their back office processes, without escalating cost.

The Solution

TA understood the problem quickly and competently and proposed a solution to San Churro's challenges. TA realized that workflow streamlining would require a major emphasis. To achieve higher efficiencies workflows were identified, defined and sought to be improved. TA also worked out the need for secure and reliable documentation management. The solution that came out the analysis was three fold. There was business analysis and workflow mapping. TA worked a solution with NetSuite for accounting and SpringCM for Document management. With this process in place, San Churro completely outsourced their AP function to TA.

The Results

San Churro has provided TA with regular assurances of realized cost benefits and delivery quality. They found TA to be responsive and able to understand business requirements very well. TA prides on providing a great value to the clients and San Churro was no different. The value that San Churro Derived out of the association with TA are:

The Road Ahead

San Churro and TA have a long term relationship going and it is reflected in the increased trust they place on TA to provide them with quality business process services. One of San Churro's main reasons for associating with TA is to eventually have a central accounting back office that is scalable as they grow the number of stores. This has been a reality in the past months. In addition, San Churro and TA are also working on a long-term association for secretarial / admin functions and Quickbooks specialist to process their payroll functions.
